After being redesigned, the Outlet Shop in the Commercial Center looks much more clearly laid-out and has great purchase appeal.

Opening of the first alfi Outlet Shop in the Old Town of Wertheim.

2006

Alfi presents a new image to the world with a new logo and the slogan: “Fresh. Cold. Hot”.

2005

A change took place in the Management. Hubert Sauter and Bernhard Mittelmann take over from former General Manager Jorg Dumming-Zitzmann.

2001

The newly-built alfi Commercial Center is inaugurated. As well as logistical facilities, training and exhibition areas, it houses Outlet Shop 2A and the “Hot and Cold Bistro”

1989

In the presence of almost 300 employees and a great many friends, alfi celebrates its 75 years of existence.

1987

Alfi becomes part of the Wuirttembergischen Metallwarenfabrik Geislingen (WMF).

1964

Owing to the constant expansion, the next extension to the factory has already become necessary.

1960

By now, alfi has 150 employees. More than 500 different models of insulated containers are being exported to a total of 62 countries.

1950

The construction of the new alfi building is finished. Production and administration move from the Fair Hall into the new structure.

1949

Carl Zitzmann accompanied by his wife makes the move to Wertheim and ventures to start all over again. In April, productions begins in the former Wertheim Fair Hall.

1948

After the rebuilding is completed, “Aluminiumwarenfabrik Fischbach” is nationalised under the GDR and the Zitzmann family have their factory expropriated.

1945

Not even the dismantling of the facctory by Soviet troops is capable of destroying the plant. Alfi is built up once again.

1939

Together with the whole workforce, alfi celebrates its 25th Anniversary.

1928

alfi goes beyond Germany’s borders. The first export order is filled.

1918

The produts are a success. Thanks to its rapid expansion, the company can now employ 75 people.

1914

Carl Zitzmann, with his wife Sophie and 10 employees, founds the “Aluminiumwarenfabrik Fischbach” and starts manufacturing insulated containers.
